Exploring Florence

Early Morning; Surprisingly, the only person to experience some sort of hangover was Timo; the rest of us dealt quite well with the alcohol overload from the evening before. We then (obviously) brunched (cereals) and then headed for the city. We tried to get into the cathedral, however the queue was long enough to shoo us away. We then decided to check out the cathedral on the next day.

We continued to walk through the city where we found some amazing street artists, musicians and a little market. We bought way too many rings and spent lots of money on snacks & further guilty pleasures.

After a little while we arrived at Palazzo Pitti. For only 2 euro we could enter the Boboli Garden.

Street art Park Park

The midday sun destroyed the whole team; we had to relax a bit. We left Palazzo Pitti and found a cute bar in a tiny alleyway. We ordered coffee, aperol and bruscetta.

The rest of the day we strolled around the city where we found an amazing vegan ice cream shop! It even contained a vegan chocolate option, which is nice as usually only the fruity flavours are vegan.

Ice Cream

We decided to end the day with some good 4$ wine and pizza. The wine hit us like a truck, especially after we decided to pour in some more aperol right after. #bamboozled
