Arth-Goldau: Departure at 8:18
We left at 8:18 from Arth-Goldau with our big booty backpacks. Ready for an adventure!
We made ourselves comfortable in the train and waited until we reached the boarder, where the train stopped for approximately 15 minutes to check our Covid Certificates. We planned to spend our lunch in Milano to make sure to not miss our connecting train to Florence. (The girl at the ticket offices assured us that 30minutes are not enough to change trains in Milano…)
Once we arrived in florence we carried our bags as fast as we could to the Air BnB which happenes to be right next to the Sante Maria del Fiore. Yael and Thilo decided to walk through the city with Flip Flops, which seemed nice in the beginning but turned out to be quite a torture in the end of the day as the rubber rubbed our toes quite intensely.
After checking we started to walk around the city. Here is what we visited:
- Sante Maria del Fiore
- Piazza della Signoria
- Giardino Bardini
- Forte di Belvedere
- Ponte Vecchio
- and a lot of other fancy buildings
